Our Casework Support Programme provides vital one-to-one support, advocacy, and referrals for young asylum-seekers and refugees from the Horn of Africa. Our team ensures comprehensive assistance, addressing diverse needs such as housing, general health, mental health support, education, immigration and family reunion.
Through our trauma-informed and intensive casework approach, we strive to identify the unique needs of young individuals. We passionately advocate for their interests within the care and asylum system, ensuring their voices are heard. We also connect them with crucial services, opportunities, and support required to achieve their goals.
Our dedicated casework team assists young people in times of crisis or when dealing with specific challenges. These challenges may include housing or homelessness issues, navigating social services, accessing mental health support, seeking family reunification, involvement in the criminal justice system, or facing age disputes.
Due to our limited resources, we can only accept self-referrals from young asylum-seekers and refugees aged 14 to 25 who are actively participating in our youth project, including attending Injera Club. If you are seeking assistance on behalf of someone you support, we kindly recommend reaching out to other organizations (we would be happy to provide guidance if you contact us). Thank you for your understanding.
