Director
S serves as our Director at Da'aro Youth, initially joining as a volunteer caseworker in December 2021 and rising to full-time Director in April 2023. With her leadership, she oversees various aspects of project administration, including strategy, fundraising, and communications. S dedication ensures the smooth operation of our initiatives, enabling us to support young asylum-seekers and refugees effectively.

Youth Service Manager
Z, our Youth Service Manager at Da'aro Youth Project, brings enthusiasm and dedication to her role. With a focus on youth-led initiatives, Z oversees vital services provided by her colleagues, recognizing their crucial role in the organization's mission. Passionate about creating opportunities for young asylum seekers and refugees in the UK, Z believes in the transformative power of storytelling through music, food, and performance to enrich the experiences of the youth served by the organization.

Casework Supervisor
I have been a caseworker at DYP since 2023, following two years of volunteering with the organisation. I am passionate about supporting refugees and asylum seekers, helping them navigate challenges and access the resources they need to build a stable future. In my role, I provide advocacy, legal referrals, and support with social disputes, ensuring that the young people we work with receive the guidance and assistance they deserve. I am dedicated to supporting our clients in settling and integrating into their new communities.

As a Youth Caseworker with a background in law, H has expertise in immigration and employment law, alongside experience working at a law centre. Passionate about supporting refugees and asylum seekers, she wants to empower our young people through advocacy and tailored support.

Since joining as Youth Mentoring Lead, C has been inspired by our dedicated team and the young people we support. Within her role, she enjoys learning about the dreams and aspirations of our young people. Through mentoring, we are able to bring these goals to life, allowing young refugees and asylum seekers to thrive and allow for their individuality to shine.

D serves as the Youth Activities Lead at Da'aro Youth Project. With a passion for facilitating transformative experiences, D finds fulfillment in organizing and coordinating trips and activities for the youth. Dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and community, she ensures that clients receive essential services while thriving in the supportive environment provided by the organization.

G started as a caseworker at Da’aro Youth Project in April 2025. With a background working in refugee resettlement and the homelessness sector, G is passionate about empowering people in society to flourish in their lives. In his current role, G supports the young people we work with to navigate the complex systems of the UK, advocating for them and ensuring that their rights and entitlements are met.

J joined the team as a caseworker in April 2025 with a background in refugee advocacy and youth work. She is committed to providing person-centred support - whether through assisting with practical and legal challenges, or simply offering a cup of tea and a chat - that helps young people build confidence and pursue their aspirations.

Office Administrator
As our Office Administrator, A ensures the day-to-day operations are seamless so the organisation can support as many young people as possible. A manages communications, coordinates schedules, and handles essential administrative tasks to foster a smooth and efficient office environment. In addition, A supports social media activity, HR administration and aids by curating client testimonials and feedback. A efforts directly empower our programmes and help us make a positive difference for young people.

Mentoring And Activities Assistant
A supports the Mentoring and Activities team, contributing to the diverse range of services DYP provides for our youngsters. This includes mental health-led activities, support with English language (ESOL), empowering young people to access education and employment, and helping with digital inclusion. They are always seeking new and exciting possibilities for the young people to explore and advance their interests. Alongside this role, A is completing a Master’s degree in Global Migration to continue advocating for freedom of movement and radical belonging, especially for the young refugees.
