Youth Caseworker

Da'aro Youth Project is looking for an experienced caseworker to join our small team based in Streatham Hill. We are interested in recruiting a part-time Youth Caseworker working 2 or 3 days a week.

Through trauma-informed, intensive casework we identify the needs of young people, advocate for their interests within the care and asylum system, and connect young people with the services, opportunities and support they need to reach their goals.

You'll need to have relevant experience and the energy and determination required to work positively with young migrants who are at risk or in crisis along with the ability to manage a complex caseload and the desire to work as a member of a small team. Preference will be given to those applicants who have previous experience in casework with children, young adults, and refugees and asylum-seekers – and those applicants with refugee language skills (Tigrinya or/and Amharic).

Closing date for Applications is 23.59 on Sunday 8th August 2021. Interviews will take place shortly afterwards.
